Contacts

Hayes County Busted Mugshots is a private reference, not a government office. We cannot confirm current custody, release anyone, post bond, obtain an official booking record, or make an agency request for you. For an official answer, use the government office that holds the relevant record.

Official Record Contacts

Start with the office that controls the kind of information needed. The Hayes County Sheriff’s Office is the first local contact for a booking record, current-custody question, or identification of the current facility and record custodian. A person arrested in Hayes County may be held through a regional arrangement, so do not assume the arrest location is the present facility. No county-hosted online roster, published sheriff records email, or public request form was located in the review.

District Court information

The sheriff page lists P.O. Box 86, while the county contacts page lists P.O. Box 370 for the sheriff. Call before mailing a request to confirm the current post-office box. The court asks callers to confirm hours before visiting. The county’s ordinary courthouse hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays; the district court lists the same office hours and names the fourth Wednesday as motion day.

  • For a booking record, a possible booking photo, or the current facility and custodian, begin with the sheriff and provide a name, date range, and known agency if available.
  • For a filed case, case number, or disposition, use the county court or district-court clerk after confirming the proper court.
  • Nebraska Justice is a public case-information route, but a new filing can lag and the search is not a current-custody or warrant guarantee.
  • For a person already in Nebraska state custody, use the official NDCS inmate search. It is not a roster for every county arrest and does not promise a public photograph.
  • NEVCAP may offer search or movement alerts only after the confirmed facility is known and participates. Hayes was not listed in the facility list reviewed, so do not assume coverage.
  • When requesting an existing public record, ask the sheriff to identify the current custodian, any applicable fee, and the nonexempt portion available for release.
  • For an immediate emergency, urgent safety concern, or crime in progress, call 911 rather than using a records or court contact.

These offices, not this private reference, determine whether a record exists, whether it is public, and what it says. A court file may show the later case outcome but not the booking photograph. A sheriff may identify a different facility or agency as custodian. Verify the office and the date of the response before relying on information about custody, release, or a case.
